Germany’s AUMA announces leadership change

Electric actuator manufacturer AUMA Riester has announced the appointment of a new managing director for sales and service, Mirko Pannwitz.

Pannwitz succeeds Ferdinand Dirnhofer, who has served the company for more than 30 years.

“We deeply thank Ferdinand Dirnhofer for his many years of commitment and his special achievements for the AUMA Group and wish him all the best and much success in his professional and private life,” says Dr Joerg Hoffmann, CEO of the AUMA Group.

“At the same time, we are pleased that with Mr Mirko Pannwitz we have been able to win a manager who, with his international experience and specific know-how, will provide additional impulses for the further development of the AUMA Group based on the company’s successful development to date. We look forward to working with Mr. Pannwitz and welcome him to AUMA,” says Dr Hoffmann.

Mirko Pannwitz has a background in electrical and industrial engineering and previously worked at Bosch Group and Forbo Group, in Germany, China and Italy. Said Pannwitz, “I am looking forward to the new exciting and challenging task at AUMA Riester GmbH & Co. KG and working together in a successful team. I am thrilled to be engaged with a company whose market presence I have been following for years.”
